Does typing English letters create Hindi words?
No. This is not phonetic typing. Every physical key follows its fixed Kruti Dev 010 keyboard position.
Do I need to install the Kruti Dev font?
No. TypingNation uses the Kruti Dev key layout and shows the result in web-safe Unicode Hindi.
What is the difference between Kruti Dev and Mangal InScript?
Kruti Dev uses a legacy Remington-style key layout. Mangal InScript uses a standard Unicode InScript keyboard. Their key positions are different.
Can I see the Kruti Dev keyboard?

Can I add my own Hindi paragraph?

How is Hindi typing speed calculated?
The test divides correct typed characters by five to estimate words, then uses the time spent typing to calculate words per minute. Accuracy compares correct characters with all typed characters.
