Is Mangal a Hindi keyboard?
Mangal is a Unicode Devanagari font. InScript is the fixed keyboard layout used on this typing test.
Does typing English spelling create Hindi words?
No. This is not phonetic typing. Each physical key follows its fixed InScript position.
Do I need to install the Mangal font?
No. The page uses Mangal when it is available and a clear Unicode Devanagari fallback when it is not.
Can I see the Mangal InScript keyboard?
Yes. Select Show Mangal InScript keyboard inside the test to view and click every supported key.
Can I add my own Hindi paragraph?
Yes. Select My Paragraph, paste or write Unicode Hindi text, check its word and character count, choose the timer and type it with fixed InScript key positions.
How is Mangal InScript typing speed calculated?
The test divides correct typed characters by five to estimate words, then uses the time spent typing to calculate words per minute. Accuracy compares correct characters with all typed characters.
